I have a passion for taking the so-called complicated or difficult and rendering it simple. I became a consultant in part because I enjoy the process of helping others wrap their mind around concepts critical to their business, community or personal growth.
I associate the 80|20 rule (proportion) to exponential curves (growth). As such, I use it as a guide to how my time and resources are distributed. The endgame is to own the means of production. Therefore it’s appropriate to use proportions that increase mind share (content), market share (contacts) and ultimately ownership share (equity).
80% of my public lectures are free,
20% are paid/endorsed.
80% of my content are stored in open source repositories,
20% are stored as proprietary.
80% of my contacts are shared openly within my social networks,
20% are sold as leads to affiliate allies
80% of my value is redeemed through equity (ownership),
20% is redeemed through cash
